Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) made important statements about Bitcoin’s mysterious founder Satoshi Nakamoto, the future of cryptocurrencies, and his new book in a recent interview.
CZ argued that keeping Satoshi’s identity secret was essential to Bitcoin’s success.
CZ said he didn’t know the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto and it was better not to know. He said that Satoshi’s anonymity is the main feature that sets Bitcoin apart from other projects.
According to CZ, unlike projects like Ethereum, the absence of an active leader at the helm of Bitcoin allows the project to remain truly decentralized. He added that if Satoshi’s identity were known, it could create speculative pressure in the market and harm the independence of the Bitcoin founder.

CZ said that AI and Blockchain are revolutionary technologies at the Internet level. He predicts that artificial intelligence will use crypto for payments and that the crypto world will develop self-custody tools through AI.
CZ argued that cryptocurrencies are “too transparent” to believe and that tracking data on blockchain is much easier than in traditional finance.
He said prediction markets, which have become popular recently, have great potential and have become an important tool for “uncovering the truth through information.”
CZ expressed cautious optimism regarding geopolitical tensions between the United States and China, saying that the fact that both countries have economically focused leaders increases the likelihood of common ground.
