Nik Bhatia, a well-known figure in the financial world, appeared on Michaël van de Poppe’s show and made important statements about the current Bitcoin market cycle, global liquidity conditions and the long-term future. Bhatia argued that despite short-term fluctuations, Bitcoin’s status as “digital gold” is growing stronger by the day.
Nik Bhatia thinks the worst is over in the Bitcoin market. He specifically described the price movements in January and February as a “capitulation” phase, saying: “I think Bitcoin has hit bottom. While this doesn’t mean we’re still in a bull market, it is a sign that the bear market is over.

Sharing his long-term predictions, Bhatia prevents Bitcoin from reaching seven figures in the next decade. “I think Bitcoin will surpass $1 million in the 2030s,” Bhatia said, adding that a new high of $130,000 for Bitcoin in the next 18 months would confirm this journey.
Bhatia also discussed the classic “4-year halving cycle” theory, stating that this thesis is no longer the main scenario. Referring to his work with mathematician Dr Steven Perrenod, he said cycles can now be spread over a wider period of time.
