Bitfarms, one of the industry’s leading mining companies, plans to sell all of its Bitcoin holdings in order to move to an AI-driven approach.

Bitfarms, a Bitcoin ($BTC) mining company listed on Nasdaq, announced its intention to sell all of its 1,827 $BTC as it shifts its focus to AI-centric data centers.

The company had already started selling Bitcoin in 2025 and made a profit of $28.2 million. Although the company has not revealed exactly how much $BTC It’s sold so far, it’s sure to sell more.

Speaking to CoinDesk, Ben Gagnon, CEO of Bitfarms, said: “Over time, we will no longer have Bitcoin. »

Gagnon added that Bitfarms will sell Bitcoin during a sharp price rise and while waiting for that rise, they continue their mining operations to maximize their cash flow before selling their mining equipment.

This approach by the company indicates a gradual liquidation rather than a sudden and abrupt sale of Bitcoin.

Bitfarms is also undergoing a structural change in addition to its Bitcoin operations. In this regard, shareholders approved the relocation of the company to the United States and its renaming to Keel Infrastructure (KEEL).

This transaction is expected to close on April 1, 2026, after which the company’s shares will trade under the symbol KEEL.
