The Ethereum Foundation dismissals some of the employees of the Research and Development Department and the Restructure under the name of “Protocol”

Ethereum indicated restructuring as a transformation to the formation of a more efficient and targeted team, in order to carry out a rapid and efficient development process.

The Ethereum Foundation has demobilized certain members of its research and development team on behalf of the Research and Development Protocol and renamed it, as part of its efforts to increase the emphasis on expansion and ease of use. Yesterday, in an article on its blog, the Foundation explained that these changes aim to “increase the standards of concentration and cooperation”, Ethereum appreciated what it called “the best opportunities to benefit not only from our technology, but from our values in the world”.

In an effort to implement its new approach, the Foundation explained that the priorities of the protocol are as follows: “Increase the expansion of the first blockchain (L1), increasing the storage space for transaction blocks, improving the experience of use”, and each of these priorities was linked to strategic initiatives and specialized teams to increase responsibility and allocation of resources.

The activities of the Protocol Department will depend on effective teams after lowering the number of employees

The Foundation said that “the changes we are announcing today are an indication of the end of previous working methods, and we see that it will provide us with a more speed and more effective way”. She added: “The protocol section has now become more homogeneous and effective thanks to a more targeted difference.”

The Foundation explained that in the context of restructuring, “certain members of the Research and Development Department will not continue their work with the Ethereum Foundation”, and the Foundation has encouraged other actors in the Etheerium community to attract its former employees by saying: “We hope that our former employees continue their work within the Ethereum technical system.”

Ethereum Corporation appoints the directors of priority sections

The new management team includes Tim Beiko and Ansgar Dietrichs to focus on the main B1 L1 giving the possibility of developing, with Alex Stokes and Francesco from Aato to manage efforts to increase expansion via solutions from the second layer (L2S). In addition, Barnabé Monnot and Josh Rudolf will manage the development of the experience of user experience, while Dankrad Feist will play the strategic advisory role of the three priorities.

The Foundation also stressed in its blog the importance of implementing its new approach by saying: “These objectives are linked to the strategic initiatives of the Protocol section, which provides a common workspace which provides the concerted efforts of our talents.” With the growing complications of the Ethereum technical roadmap, the need to accelerate activities increases, which prompted the foundation to indicate the importance of close cooperation by saying: “The transformation quickly requires research to developing preliminary models as a degree of close cooperation and opening of joint communication channels.

Finally, Ethereum invited new shareholders to join the protocol to fill the vacant positions, such as the Director of Use and the Director of Performance Engineering. The published institution concluded by saying: “As much the success together; let’s lift in the Protocol section.”
