Alex Thorn, director of global research at Galaxy Digital, revealed that he thought that American goovenerly will officially establish a Bitcoin Strategic Reserve (BTC) this year.
“I still believe that the tereeeee is creating a strategic bitcoin reserve this year. Such and announces,” said Thorn.
The United States has recently made a declaration on establishing a reserve but announced that it would not actively buy BTC.
Although some industry leaders are more caused by the possibility, there are signs that the plan goes ahead.
President Donald Trump signed an executive decree in March by formalizing the creation of the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve and the reserve of American digital assets. How, the strategic plan for the implementation of the reserve has not yet been finalized.
Recent developments suggest that the process is underway. On Tuesday, American legislators inductivated a bill in the Treasury Department which would need a reserve.
Thorn said that the marks have igenrated this postible, declaring that a possible annountement of a major turn power for bitcoin.
