TON Tech Gives Telegram Bots Buying Power with New Agent Wallet Standard

$TONS Tech launched Agentic Wallets on April 28, 2026, an open standard that allows artificial intelligence (AI) agents operating on Telegram to hold and spend $TONS Without user approval on every transaction.

Key points to remember:

  • $TONS Tech launched Agentic Wallets on April 28, 2026, giving Telegram’s AI agents direct access to on-chain spending.
  • The open standard allows developers to create trading robots and DeFi agents on $TONS Without dependence on a supplier and without risk of custody.
  • $TONS Tech’s Andrew Grekov reports that agents will execute payments and interact with on-chain services within Telegram’s billion-user base.

Telegram AI agents earn directly $TONS Payments

The new standard, shared with Bitcoin.com News, closes a gap that limits AI agents to advisory roles. Agents can research, recommend and plan, but they have no autonomous means to act financially. $TONS Without full access to the key or step-by-step confirmation from the user. Agent wallets fill this space.

Each agent receives a dedicated onchain wallet funded directly by the user. The user maintains ownership through their primary wallet. The agent transacts only within the balance assigned by the user. Access may be revoked at any time. No intermediary holds funds at any time.

The setup process is designed to stay out of the way. A user asks their agent to create a wallet, fund it and confirm the arrangement once. After that, the agent operates within its assigned scope without requiring further intervention for routine actions.

Telegram provides a convenient distribution channel for the standard. Its bot infrastructure and bot-to-bot communication already supports autonomous agent interactions with a user base of over 1 billion. Agent wallets expand what these agents can do in this environment: they can now make payments directly in the Telegram chat interface.

For developers, the standard opens up a set of applications that were previously difficult to build cleanly. Trading robots can run within predefined budgets. Decentralized finance (DeFi) agents can handle staking and portfolio management in isolated wallets. Automating payments for subscriptions and API usage becomes viable without routing funds through a custodian.

Standard integrations with existing versions $TONS infrastructure and does not require upgrading existing infrastructure $TONS wallets. $TONS Tech built it without vendor lock-in, allowing developers to implement and manage agent configurations independently. It comes with MCP and CLI tools included and is compatible with leading AI models and agent frameworks.

For individual users, the model allows multiple agents to run simultaneously, each operating in its own isolated wallet with its own spending limit. Recurring payments and budget-constrained automation become tasks that users can assign and walk away from.

Andrew Grekov, head of $TONS Tech, clearly described the change. “Agents on Telegram can not only communicate, but also transact, making payments and interacting with on-chain services on behalf of users, without ever touching their keys.”

The standard is completely non-custodial and open source. $TONS Tech built it and maintains it as part of The Open Platform, the company developing the Web3 infrastructure within Telegram.
