According to the latest reports, US President Donald Trump has confirmed the death of Iranian cleric Ali Khamenei.
Trump made the following statement:
“Khamenei is dead, now is Iran’s greatest chance to reconquer his country. »
In an article on Truth Social, he said Khamenei had died, calling the development “justice served.”
In his message, Trump described Khamenei as “one of the worst people in history,” saying his death was a matter of justice not only for the Iranian people but also for American citizens and those who lost their lives around the world. He added that the operation was carried out using US intelligence and “high-tech surveillance systems”, and in close cooperation with Israel.
The US president, while claiming that Khamenei and several other Iranian leaders had been killed, also called on Iranian military and security forces. Trump specifically claimed to have received information that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and security forces “don’t want to fight anymore.” Declaring that these forces were seeking immunity from the United States, Trump reiterated a previous statement, saying: “They may have immunity now, but later they will only get death.” »
Trump also argued that the IRGC and police forces should play a role in rebuilding the country, “joining forces with Iranian patriots.” Claiming that Iran had been largely “destroyed and devastated” in a single day, Trump said heavy and precise bombing would continue throughout the week or until the targets were hit.
